How to bypass the issue of having to reload the mega page because of new vpn connection without losing the download progress

I have a question,

So when I am downloading a big file from mega I have to use some kind of vpn to bypass the limit of downloading but the issue that I ran into with some of the mega links that I open is that after I reload my page (I have to reload it so my browser becomes aware of new IP address) I lose all the progress that I reach with downloading, it starts from scratch.
