Other sites: Depends, wouldnt go higher than 200$ tho just to be sure
The process is quite simple, once the package arrives wait a few hours / days.
Then message amazon & explain to them that you just opened the package and it was empty.
Make sure to act confused & disappointed.
Tell them that it was a present for a sibling and when he opened it and it was empty you were very embarrassed.
(To make this more believeable you can also check the “gift” option when ordering on amazon)
Now explain to them that you simply gifted him some cash because of that and now dont need the gift anymore
Why? Because by doing so you reject a replacement.
Amazon will always try to give a replacement first because they make more money with that.
If they ask if the package was damaged or anything always say NO! Otherwise they will most likely investigate more.
Said everything was alright, the invoice was fine and everything was there, just not ur item.
Remember to always stay nice & act like a normal customer that is confused who is normally happy with amazon.
For other companies its the same.
Worst case: you need to submit a PR if the order value was too high
If that happens you can either hire someone to do that or just give up the refund if you dont want the trouble
As I said like 3 times by now, EB is the most basic common method, dont expect to refund an iphone with this.
