How To Bind VPN To Torrent Client
Windows:
Establish a connection with the desired location by starting the VPN.
Launch qBittorrent and access the “Preferences” section.
Within the “Advanced” tab, modify the network interface to reflect the VPN’s nomenclature.
Restart qBittorrent to ensure seamless integration of the changes made.
Mac OS:
Initiate the VPN connection with your preferred location.
Locate and launch the Terminal app, located in Applications/Utilities.
Execute the command “ifconfig | grep -A 2 utun” (without quotes) within the Terminal app.
Note the utun interface featuring the internal IP “inet 10.x.x.x” (for example, “utun3”).
Open qBittorrent and access the “Preferences” section, followed by the “Advanced” tab.
Change the network interface to match the previously identified utun interface.
Restart qBittorrent to implement the changes.
