Hey everyone, just jumping back in since I haven’t seen any replies yet.
I’m really hoping to hear different perspectives because TikTok feels so different these days compared to when it first blew up. Personally, I still enjoy some parts of it, but the constant ads, random algorithm shifts, and tighter moderation kind of take away the old “scroll for fun” vibe.
I’m also curious if anyone here has tried alternatives or lighter versions of the app. I keep seeing people talk about third-party or modded builds that supposedly remove some restrictions, but I haven’t explored them enough to know if they’re actually safe or worth using.
If anyone has been experimenting with different platforms or even modded experiences, would love to hear how they compare. Just trying to figure out if it’s TikTok changing, or if we’ve all just outgrown the early hype.
