The script works on Mali/other GPUs too but performance will be lighter. Software Termux (F-Droid — do not use the Play Store version, it is outdated) Note on rooting / custom ROMs: This script works on stock Android too. The video demonstrates it running on LineageOS on a OnePlus 5T. Rooting is not required by the script itself.
