• Justice For CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY Girls

Today (17th September 2022), In Chandigarh University, which claims to be an NAAC+ grade university, has seen a suicide of a girl who was recorded while taking a bath by another girl from her hostel. One girl has made videos of 60+ girls and has sent/sold them to boys and has also posted them on adult sites. There are 3-4 girls who are in the hospital due to this incident. The wardens are breaking phones of students who have videos of proof just to protect the image of the university. Students are protesting for justice and there has not been any support from the Department of Student Welfare or Punjab Government. They are deleting tweets on twitter within 5 minutes of posting just for the sake of their reputation. The wardens are blaming girls for wearing short or appealing clothes and are saying that this is what they deserve. This petition is for providing justice to the girls who have suffered. This petition is to put the culprits behind the bars, including the Management of  Chandigarh University.

        I can’t even begin to image the sadness and depression that their parents must be feeling as a result of having to deal with this. I hope the Indian court and police look into it and punish the offenders appropriately. And with regards to wearing short clothing on the street please, women, remember that we are not in any other country, and wearing short clothing inevitably draws attention from boys. Why should you adopt a foreign wardrobe? when Indian culture has really beautiful clothing! I’m not against women’s rights. after all, this isn’t North Korea lol, where ladies can wear any outfit they like! in the end, we lost a precious student of india! OM SHANTI to the lovely sole!

          himaskumar All news are fake … I was a CU student and i know what CU can do and How much power do they have.

          they will try to cover this all but we students know the real truth.

              “So far in our investigation, we have found out that there is only one video of the accused herself. She has not recorded any other video of anyone else. Electronic devices and mobile phones have been taken into custody and will be sent for forensic examination,” Mohali police chief Vivek Soni said, news agency ANI reported.

              Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that a high level inquiry has been ordered into the incident. “Sad to hear the incident of Chandigarh University. Our daughters are our pride. Have ordered a high level inquiry into the incident. Whoever is guilty will take strict action. I am constantly in touch with the administration. I appeal to all of you to avoid rumours.”

                    it is so disheartening to hear this actually. Before making your son or daughter an Engineer or Doctor, teach them how to be a human first.

                    i think all the entrance exams like NEET or JEE should consider taking a psychological test of the student along with the actual test.

                        but i think it will take more time to complite sutdown this type of network becuseits depend on cyber cell respose becuse i talk may police man then don helped me and slso laughing they say its unstopable but i think not posible ☺

                        xa- yeah!! this is my college and I am in my third year and management here is the worst. Our Pro Vice-Chancellor gave a false statement that “nothing happened” but only we students knew the whole truth. Local media and Punjab police were bribed by the college and now they made a settlement statement by giving new smartphones to the students whose phone were conditionally destroyed and full medical compensation to the protesters who were injured during laathi charge.

                        College is just running because of placement offers and hardcore advertisements but in reality here all the good teachers leave the college in max a month or two. Some subjects to us are taught by teaching assistants (newcomers).

                        Scholarships of the students here are snatched and debarred on fuzzy logic just after the first year or in case you managed to continue to the second year so- they will conditionally reduce marks so that your CGPA falls from 7.5 or either you failed to submit MOOC or any mandatory certificate. Their main goal for the sophomores is to snatch scholarships by hook or by crook.

                        There are 24k students in first-year cse this year and 12 k in the second year and around 9 k in the third year. They have JOINT PLACEMENT PROGRAMME so students from CGC LANDRAN will also sit in placement. So I would not recommend any of the juniors to ever join CU if their main goal is to grab a campus placement .

                        Lastly - I wrote all this because daily I see middle-class parents with their children falling under the trap made by CU.

                        CU is the “all the glitters are not gold” type.
