Hidden_Person_MG then, if u want beginner friendly, ease of use, so much of community support, & all bug fixing/problems solution then you can go for Ubuntu, Zorin Pro, Fedora, Elementary os, Garud Os, Manjaro, Linux Mint. These are the best & gives you greater performance on your specified hardware… I forgot to mention that.. you will get afr better driver support in These OS as compared to Windows & MacOs

you have nvidia card so go with pop os it has a version with nvidia card drivers.

Dont start with Arch,fedora etc

Start with debian distro like - Ubuntu, Linux mint, kali linux this are best

After experiencing with debian try others distro flavour like arch, fedora openBSD etc..

Understand which distro comes under which linux distribution, every linux distro has little bit different cmd but 95 % are same.

I have tried Zorin Pro, POPOS, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, ElementaryOS and Fedora. Currently i am using DeepinOS and i am in love with everything in it from programming to gaming.

Updating the OS using the Linux terminal will get u to the latest 16.2 version.

Hidden_Person_MG use archlinux, if unable to install then use arcolinux or arch-labs,

I prefer archlinux cuz better package management,

No pain of adding repos for installing packages
No snap, flatpack issue
All packages are in AUR repo, so simple install yay,baph or yougrt for dis
In terms of stability i prefer artrix
+ Don’t go for popos, cuz pipewire sucks (like most of the packages will conflicts between pipewire and pulseaudio)
And zorinos is just another bloat, rather then using zorin go for Ubuntu
If low ram then Ubuntu with xfce, lxqt
Otherwise Ubuntu with Gnome and kde
