saunder it’s not malicious. the source code is on GitHub. this is just Microsoft’s desperate attempt to stop you from installing.

AbdurRahmanKhan there’s no expiry. but it won’t get any updates, so new features won’t be added. You have to update manually if you want them.

it’ll work until you’ve updated the spotify app then you have to redo it and apply the bypass

saunder https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SpotX-CLI/SpotX-Win/main/Install.ps1, that’s the source code, the batch file is requesting an invoke from this link since you’ll face problems running the actual .ps1 file “powershell script file”, with a specific needs or options like in that script whether you like to turn off both the podcasts, updates and setup a cache clearer depending in the period you’d like so in that case a batch file is needed to keep requesting the invokes from the actual src depending on your needs, in the end of the day it’s up to the user on whether he would like to use it or not, also that’s how people should use the internet you shouldn’t trust anything you see.

The installation for Windows has been moved to another repository “Link”, you might keep seeing get premium above or sponsored with a blank image on your app, there’re a few flaws yeah, but you’re not gonna be hearing any ads.

Also make sure to read the whole .ps1 file, where you can find the source code.
