Check if your Aadhar and PAN are linked or not: https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/pre-login/link-aadhaar-status
If not, Link it before 30th June (extended date, earlier it was 31st March)

If you pay using upi immediately your pan and aadhar get link other options may take 24 hours (without accounting holidays)
It will usually take 7 working days. The whole payment related procedure is taken care and manage by SBI .
xrdj I filled for challan on 29 march now how much time it will take.

If you paid by any other method (like 3rd party application) you should raised ticket for customer service their.
keep the reference number of your challan you paid to it department .
thyb67 when I paid the aadhar chalan and then I go to aadhar link status then it says aadhar is not linked with pan card

AmanMourya09 After paying the challan again go to the efilling website and again you have to click the option link Aadhar with pan in the profile section then it will automatically show your challan ,just proceed and then the linking will be done very soon, else if you don’t follow the step after paying the challan it won’t work.
When I click on link aadhar status it says
Your Aadhaar-PAN linking request has been sent to UIDAI for validation. Please check the status later by clicking on ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ link on Home page
