You can get streaming links using inspect elements but you need to learn DRM breaking , this requires technical knowledge of networks and server knowledge…ultimately you have to learn full stack web development

mitwa hey man, I dont want any courses or movies as of now but I want to learn how to use inspect element to get the hidden info of a page, like for udemy or any news websites or chegg which hide info behind a wall. Can you tell me where I can learn all this, I have basic knowledge of OS and Networking.

Hehehehehe77 @xa- can you suggest anything by any chance . I know there was a post for udemy specifically too but I am unable to find it and I also don’t see any post related to this now.

Hehehehehe77 please elaborate more i cant understand what you are specifically talking about “ behind paywall”

mitwa you know how chegg says subscribe to see the full answer or nytimes or similar news websites show the tip of the article and then say subscribe to see the full article or udemy lets us see the headings of videos for a course but when we click on vids they are locked, I figured people do something related to inspecting element with these cause the course I have of grokking and all have HTML pages for those course, so I want to learn how to do that, and they probably inspect element and go to network and sort by media to get the vids too but I don’t know exactly the procedure so I wanted to know if there’s somewhere a proper documented method out there

Hehehehehe77 full answer or nytimes or similar news websites show the tip of the article and then say subscribe to see the full article

To read the complete article from nytimes or similar news or quora or medium, just turn on the immersive reader. It’s available on edge.

There are some other techniques to do that like using adblockers, inspect element, zoom in etc…

Hehehehehe77 JoshCollins for reading articles and news you can use javascript switcher extension ( https://bit.ly/3FHu2lQ ) and this extension ( https://bit.ly/3BLhCbs ) and for udemy or any website that you are talking about is done using youtube-dl ( your query should be search on google like this : how to downlaod copyright or DRM videos using youtube-dl) and udeler (udemy support only) ( https://bit.ly/3v2ka1k ) but but but if and only you have purchased that course from udemy or you have subscription of that platform then only you can download using these method otherwise not.

Hope I have cleared your long time struggling doubts. :)

mitwa thanks a lot man, but I had a question, if I have not purchased the course, can I still download it from udemy, since so many people upload here, I don’t think they actually buy all the courses.

Hehehehehe77 no you can’t download course without purchasing. These course you see posted in forums is actually purchased at some point somewhere by someone then ripped off from the original source…purchased owner can be genuine or some people do it intentionaly through group buys to rip it and share in multiple forums that they are being part of so from there everyone keep posting everywhere.

Hehehehehe77 Most of the Udemy courses are free at first, anyone can enroll in it. Course creators do this to get some positive ratings and reviews. Once they get that, creators simply make them premium. Those who have already enrolled them, they simply rip the course and share in their sites.

JoshCollins ok now I get it. We cant really get the vids if we didn’t enroll in them, so the mods and admins who give us resources for even the older courses , get them from somewhere else and not directly from udemy by some method, right ?
