  • Accessing to Computer via Anydesk

Hi, everyone. I faced a strange circumstance.

I met a man and he agreed with me on collaboration.

So, I was going to access to your computer via Anydesk. I sent access request.

But I saw a strange window which require me to accept Anydesk’s terms. I felt odd But I accepted.

And I could find that he downloading some files to my computer. So, I turned off the window.

Maybe, he was a hacker. But I am wonder if this means Anydesk has some backdoor or hacking space?
Hope your professional idea.

Anydesk itself doesn’t have a backdoor, but if you gave someone remote access, they could misuse it, like downloading files without your permission. It sounds like the person you met may have taken advantage of your trust. Make sure to disconnect, change passwords, run a malware scan, and review any downloaded files. Be cautious with remote access tools in the future.

Anydesk’s terms could be the regular terms & conditions for new users. If you hadn’t agreed to download any files into your pc, he could be a potential hacker. It’s good that you shut down ur pc.

Now turn off the internet connection and do a virus scan (especially on the newly downloaded files). Then be sure to delete those files. Later check for any new mails or messages regarding security breach or password change or anything. It’s recommended to change all your passwords.

If they downloaded some files to your system, then it may be a rat file (PDF, JPEG, DOC, PPTX, JPG ) just open the file it will create backdoor access from your system to hacker system they can take everything from your system and you can’t detect that rat file unless you are pc expert.

    Thanks of you all

    But I downloaded correct Anydesk.

And I faced new confirm message at that moment.

    So curious
