  • Mega to Google shared drive - Updated Methods

First Tell me what about google drive space?

Let’s assume you got a method now where will store it ? I think your answer would be Google shared drive but Now my question is how long it will last? … 1 month 2 months .. 5 months? There will be no guarantee because you are not the admin of that shared drive and it can be deleted any day.
These are generally educational shared drives by big institutes which don’t check that much …. But there is no guarantee about anything.

ONLY PAID METHODS EXIST AT THIS POINT>

    xa- I have playbook.com accounts.

Remember at one time it was free 4tb?. I got them as many as 5.

From shared drive i link it to playbook.

And also if there are paid methods. Plz let us know

Evilerx umm yea..its an issue so i opened this discussion if anyone got any methods

gra33h0pper Remember at one time it was free 4tb?. I got them as many as 5.

      Sorry no idea

BTW the truth is no one will give you TBs of cloud storages for free (lifetime). Nowadays Cloud storage is very expensive thing, And those site which gives you TBs of free stoarge, their servers are shit … you will get very less upload and download speed.

There are 3-4 paid methods -
      1. BUY A MULTICLOUD or any other premium service and transfer it. (google drive storage also needed)
      2. Buy a Mega Pro account and Download all data // Or upload it via any gdrive Telegram Bot

Hmm you are right, playbook is just for the backup of everything that is very important to me. Else everything is in shared drive.

I think the best way is rclone it’s very easy and fast

      a month later

It sounds like maybe you did not setup rclone right. The first thing you must do is this:

Make sure you have setup both Gdrive and Mega as remotes, edit your rclone.conf file and insert this last line of each remote

      server_side_across_configs = true

      Then you run this command:

      rclone copy –drive-server-side-across-configs Gdrive:/Folder Mega:/Folder

Obviously changing Gdrive:/Folder Mega:/Folder to your info

You can see my server side copy stats and rates below.

The images below show you speeds I got without using local network.

I was able to transfer 50TB very quickly doing this.

Keep in mind if you are trying to do more than 750GB you must use service accounts.

In the picture below you see “fatal error” that is because I tell each transfer to stop at 740GB, that way it auto closes the connection and moves on to the next command to keep copying.

InfoR3aper can you please tell how to add service accounts also how to add the file in rclone?

@XDJ Can you share a tutorial on how one can transfer bigger files from one cloud to Another using RDP like we do in Google Collab.
